A club rents a bus to go to the outlet malls is San Marcos. The cost (c) that each person pays to cover the cost of the trip varies inversely with the number of people (p)ngoing on the trip. It will cost $30.00 per person if 50 people go on the trip. How much will it cost per person if 40 people go on the trip?
I don't know what the other person did and I'm not about to determine it either.
Doesn't he/she realize that the problem mentions "varies inversely?" Does he/she even know what this means?
I can tell you this, what he/she did was WRONG. I'll let you know this: with the relationship being an INVERSE one, it would cost less people MORE
money each. So, if 50 go on the trip, and each pays $30, do you think if 40 go, the 40 would pay less, per person than the 50, or more? I leave this for you to ponder!!
