Question 110839: In 1960 80% of children were born in 2 parent homes.
In 1980 50% of children were born in 2 parent homes. Choose
two values of x to input into the function and find the
corresponding y for each.

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20060)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Then when x=0 (when it was no years after 1960,
that is, the year 1960), the corresponding value
for y was .80.

Then x=20 (when it was 20 years after 1960, that
is, the year 1980), the corresponding value for y
was .50

So the two values of x to input into the function
are 0 and 20. The corresponding values of y are
.8 and .5 respectively.
