So you use p for the price which you are trying to figure out that it will be. Then you know that it is $1.10 for every mile, so you just say 1.1m. You also need to add on the $2.50 to the charges. So you get-P= 1.1m+2.5
So then for the second part you just plug in 10 for the p. So it would be 10=1.1m+2.5. Then you subtract 2.5 from each side and get 7.5=1.1m. Next you divide 1.1 from each side and you get about 0.682 miles which you can round to whatever your teacher tells you to.
For the last part I'm sorry but I'm not sure on that. I hope this helped you!
