Question 1070395: Your neighbors would like a babysitter for their two children. they will pay a flat fee $10 per child and $.20 per year of age of the babysitter as their hourly rate. Is this a good way to set their rate? Write and graph the equation. Calculate how much you would make in this job.
Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hourly rate= 10c+0.2*a, where c=number of children and a=age of baby sitter.
If baby sitter is 15, then 0.2*15=3
Hourly rate then equals
for c=1 10+3=$13
for c=2 20+3=$23, etc.
, where x-axis is number of children and y-axis is the hourly rate.
