Question 1056307: I need to make a verbal model of this question. The question is you are going to buy a new pair of shoes for $155. You can save $15 per week. How many weeks do you need to save for?
Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the shoes cost 155 dollars.
you will need at least that much in order to buy the shoes.
you can save 15 dollars a week.
divide 155 by 15 per week and you get 10 and 1/3 weeks.
if you can save for parts of a week, then you would need to save 15 dollars a week for 10 and 1/3 weeks in order to be able to buy the shows.
if you cannot save for parts of a week, then you would need to save 15 dollars a week for 11 weeks in order to be able to buy the shoes.
