Answer by JoelSchwartz(130)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x=units digit
y=tens digit
10y+x=4+10y
x=4
10y+4=2(10x+y)-12
10y+4=20x+2y-12
8y+4=20x-12
8y+4=80-12
8y=68-4
8y=64
y=8
The orginal number is 84
