construct a formula for P and x where P is the profit a company makes after selling x electric fans at $70 each, while the cost of manufacturing of each fan is $25 and the fixed cost (which includes rent, electricity, and so on) is $729

construct a formula for P and x where P is the profit a company makes after selling x electric fans at $70 each, while the cost of manufacturing of each fan is $25 and the fixed cost (which includes rent, electricity, and so on) is $729

Find the cost:
C = 25x + 729
Find the revenue, total received from sales of x number of fans
70x
Profit = revenue - cost
so we have
P = 70x - (25x + 729)
we can simplify, remove brackets
P = 70x - 25x - 729
P = 45x - 729
