Assuming the parallelogram is a rectangle you get the following::
Area of one piece:: 6*4.4 = 26.4 sq in
Total area :: 27*26.4 = 712.8 sq in

The area of one parallelogram is the product of its base measure by height:

S = 6*4.4 = 26.4 .

The area of 27 parallelogram pieces is 27 times this value:
27*26.4 = . . .
