Question 556061: I'm having trouble with System of Linear Equations by Substitution.
One of the problems I need help is,
"Solve the linear system using substitution"
-5x+3y=51
y=10x-8
------
What I did is
-5x+3y=51
y=10x-8
-5x+3(10x-8)=51
-5x+30x-8=51
25x-8=51
25x=75
x=3
and my answer is (3,51)
I don't think it's correct.
