Question 133399: Could someone please help me with this problem. I need to find the equation of the line parallel to 2y = -x + 3 which passes through (0,4)

Question 133406: Okay could I please get help with this one. I've to a certain point and have gotten stuck. I need to find the equation of a line that passes through points
(0,2) and (4,4)
This is what I have done so far.
first to find the slope I used m = 4 -2/4-0
The intercept would be 2/4
now for the point slope of the line I used y-2 = 2/4 (x + 0)
y -2 = 2/4x + 2/4
y-2 + 2 = 2/4x + 2/4 + 2
y = 2/4x + this is where I have gotten lost
I would appreciate the help
