Question 27561: I need help on this problem that I have been working on forever. Every time i tried it i get a different answer each time. Here's the Problem

this is what I got
3x-y=15

8x+0=24
8x=24
8x/8= 24/8
x=3

3(2)-y=15
6-y=15
6-y-6=15-6
-y=9
-y/-1= 9/-1
y= -9
