Question 59979: Please show me the graph for the equations: Solve each system of equation by graphing.
Y = 2x-4 my points are X and Y (0, -4), (3, 2), (5, 6)
y = -4 X + 2 my points are X and Y (0, 2), (3, 10), (2, -6)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Please show me the graph for the equations: Solve each system of equation by graphing.
Y = 2x-4 my points are X and Y (0, -4), (3, 2), (5, 6)
y = -4 X + 2 my points are X and Y (0, 2), (3, -10)***, (2, -6)
*** I corrected that point:
y=-4(3)+2
y=-12+2
y=-10 not positive 10, that's probably what is confusing you.
y=2x-4 looks like this after you connect all the points:
graph%28300%2C200%2C-10%2C10%2C-10%2C10%2C2x-4%29
When you graph the second line y=-4x+2 you get this:
graph%28300%2C200%2C-10%2C10%2C-10%2C10%2C2x-4%2C-4x%2B2%29
They intersect at: (x,y)=(1,-2)
Happy Calculating!!!
