Start with the remaining amount at the end:
The son's 1% of the remaining amount was $10,000,
so the remaining amount was $10000/0.01=$1,000,000.
Plus what was given to the hospital is $51,000,000.
This is the other "half the remainder"
The first half went to the teacher, so both halves
were $102,000,000.
Add back the $5,000,000 to Sam, the total fortune was $107,000,000
