Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
an equivalent equation for 3/5x=4/9y
Assume it's
x = y
multiply both sides by 45, cancel the denominators, and you have
9(3x) = 5(4y)
27x = 20y
Put in slope/intercept form
20y = 27x
divide both sides by 20
y = x
