Question 953000: Hi,
I'am really stuck on this equation and I would love for anyone to help.
I would very much appriciate if you could also explain how to do this.
a & b are part if this equation.
Thank You for your help.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The slope intercept form of a line equation is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept.
For the given equation m=2/3 and b = -3.
If x is 5, y = (2/3)*5 - 3 = 10/3 - 9/3 = 1/3
If x = -10, then x = -10. Y=(2/3)*(-10) - 3 = -20/3 - 9/3 = -29/3
