My grandma is three times as old as I am. She was 60 when I was born. How old is she now?
--------------
The age difference will always be 60 years.
3x as old --> a difference of 2x your age.
2*age = 60
you're 30, she's 90
=============
Or,
G = Y + 60
G = 3Y
---
3Y = Y + 60
2Y = 60
Y = 30
G = 90
