Answer by ewatrrr(24785) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope equals 2 and the line goes through the point (-1, 3)
y-3=2(x+1) point-slope format
You did not say what format the Answer was to use...
slope-intercept: y = 2x + 5 ****
0r
Standard Form???: 2x-y = -5
Could be part of Your not getting the right answer
NOt using the format asked for...

The others done like the first, after finding slope:
(8,5) and
(9, 6) m = -1/-1 = 1, ,
......
(-1, -7) and
(-8, -2)m = -5/7, ,
......
(1/2, 3/2) and
(-1/4, 5/4) m = (1/4)/(3/4) = 1/3, , 0r
