SOLUTION: given f(x)=(2x-6)/(5x-10)
find f(3) and f(-3)
I was thinking that it is 2(3)-6=0 and 2(-3)-6=0 and do same with 5x-10
but I don't know if that is correct way of solving it.

Answer by josgarithmetic(39617) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Substitute 3 for x. Evaluate. Your work is ignoring the entire definition for f(x). Note that this is a RATIONAL expression. YES, you include the denominator 5x-10.
