Question 888230: If a baseball is thrown vetically upward while standing on the ground, the velocity of the baseball
v (in feet per second) after T seconds is V=120-32T.
I need to find V for T=0,1,2,3 and 4.
Then graph the equation using T as the horizontal axis
What is the significance of the negative value of V when T= 4

If a baseball is thrown vetically upward while standing on the ground, the velocity of the baseball
v (in feet per second) after T seconds is V=120-32T.
I need to find V for T=0,1,2,3 and 4.
Then graph the equation using T as the horizontal axis
What is the significance of the negative value of V when T= 4
-----------------
v = 120 - 32t
Sub the values for t and find v
---
v(0) = 120 - 32*0 = 120 ft/sec
v(1) = 120 - 32*1 = 88 ft/sec
Do the others the same way
---
At t = 4, v(t) is negative --> the ball is on its way back down.
