Question 836895: How do I find the solution for x=1 and y=1? It is a multiple choice answer question, but I am unsure how to work out the problem? The options for answer are no solutions, infinate many solutions, (0,0), and (1,1).
Answer by rothauserc(4718)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you want to look at the graphs of x=1 and y=1
the graph of x=1 is a vertical line that intersects the x axis at the point (1,0)
the graph of y=1 is a horizontal line that intersects the y axis at the point (0,1)
where these two lines intersect is the solution, point of intersection is (1,1)
