2X-Y=-4
-Y=-2X-4
Y=2X+4 NOW SUBSTITUTE (2X+4) FOR Y & SOLVE FOR X IN THE OTHER EQUATION.
-3X+(2X+4)=-9
-3X+2X+4=-9
-X=-9-4
-X=-13
X=13 ANSWER.
Y=2*13+4
Y=26+4
Y=30 ANSWER.
