It depends a great deal on what you want to "do" to it. I would bet a rather large sum that your text book does NOT say "Do
". So, re-post. State the question correctly. Describe what it is about the question that is giving you difficulty. Show the work you have done so far. You know, follow the instructions.
By the way, the caret mark, "^", made by holding the shift key and typing 6, means "to the power of". We understand 6(3^x) = 7 to mean
