: This is Solving Linear Systems by Linear Combinations (substitution not allowed). This is the second of two problems I have not been able to solve. Please help me if you can.
0.1g - h + 4.3 = 0
3.6 = -0.2g = h
Again, I am using the five step method to solve. Thank you.

Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
0.1g - h + 4.3 = 0
3.6 = -0.2g + h
----------
Multiply by 10 to get rid of the decimals and rearrange to get:
1st: g-10h= -43
2nd: 2g-10h= -36
-----------
Subtract 1st from 2nd to get:
g=7
Substitute that into 1st to get:
7-10h= -43
-10h=-50
h=5
============
Solution: g=7 ; h=5

Stan H.
