to graph these inequalities, start by graphing the first line in light pencil.
Graph the line 4x -3y =0. Since you are told the inequality is >= , use a dark solid line (the solid line represents the equal part). Then shade in the area 'above the line' using some grid pattern (maybe slashes going upward. (depending on the line above is toward the page top and right)
Now plot the other line 2x + 5y = 40. Since the inequality here is only >, make the line a dashed line. (Dashed means the equality part is not included as part of the solution). Again, since they want the > part, shade in the area 'above the second line'. Use a different pattern this time (maybe slanted lines running another direction from the slants used for the first line.
The points that are included in the intersection of the shaded areas (including points on the first line (if there are any that intersect) is the solution.
