First of all, stop typing in caps. It's the equivalent of shouting!!

Slope form:
Since slope = 1, then we can say that:
Now, substituting coordinates, (- 3, y) and (- 9, - 2), we get:

- 2 � y = - 6 ----- Cross-multiplying
- y = - 6 + 2
- y = - 4
y = , or

You can apply the same concept when doing the 2nd problem.
