37 equation is alittle confusing or maybe I am making to difficult. please help me.

1st: x/4-y/3= 4
2nd: x/4-y/4=-1

Subtract 2nd from 1st to get:
3rd: -y/3+y/4=5
Multiply 3rd by 12 to get:
-4y+3y=60
-y=60
y=-60
-----------
Substitute into 1st to solve for y, as follows:
(x/4)+20=4
x/4 =-16
x=-64
--------
Final solution:
x=-64, y=-60
