1st: 2x+3y=8
2nd: 3x-2y=-1

Multiply the 1st by 3 and the 2nd by 3 to get:
3rd: 6x+9y=24
4th: 6x-4y=-2
--------------
Subtract 4th from 3rd to get:
13y=26
y=2
-------------
Substitute into 1st to solve for x, as follows:
2x+3(2)=8
2x=2
x=1
------------
Solution:
x=1 y=2
