Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
FIRST WE FIND THGE SLOPE (Y2-Y1/(X2-X1)
(3-2)/(2+1)
1/3 THIS THE SLOPE (m)IN THELINE EQUATION
Y=mX+b NOW WE SUBSTITUTE ONE SETR OF POINTS TO OBTAIN THE Y INTERCEPT(b)
2=1/3(-1)+b
2=-1/3+b
b=2+1/3
b=7/3
THEN WE HAVE THE EQUATION OF THE LIN WHICH IS
Y=-1/3X+7/3
