: Hi, I have an algebra test on Monday and I can't figure out how to find the y intercept of a y=a+bx equation. On the test we can't graph to find it, but we are given a table with input (x)and output (y) numbers, but where 0 isnt given.
Thanks

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you are give two pairs of numbers (x and y)
you can find the equation of the line.
Then letting x=0 you can find the y-intercept
and letting y=0 you can find the x-intercept.
Hope that helps.
