-1/4a=2/5 Solve for A)

this is a simple linear equation with one variable, to solve simply divide out -(1/4) from each side to isolate a.
-1/4a=2/5
-(1/4)a/-(1/4)=(2/5)/-(1/4)
A=-(8/5)
when a is isolated you get the answer for A what is -(8/5) or -1.6
