Question 565337: 5(4-x)+(7+x)=47
Answer by Tias_411(14) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
use distributive property.. 5(4-x)= 20-(5x) now you have the problem next, add like terms... 27-6x= 47 then subtract 27 from both sides to get -6x by itself... -6x= 20 then you divide both sides by -6. your answer should probably be a decimal or just leave it as 20/(-6)
