Put the value of x in (2)
2(6-4y)-3y=1
12-8y-3y=1
-11y=1-12
-11y=-11
Divide by -11
-11y/-11=-11/-11
y=1
Put the value of y in (1)
x=6-4y
x=6-4(1)
x=6-4
x=2
Solution Set
x,y=2,1
