So we have to first get rid of that fraction ( I don't know about you... but I would rather not work with fractions) To do this, I will multiply both sides by x


Now, we see that we have something multiplied to x, so we must do the opposite of multiplication to get rid of it, which is division:


We can simplify this fraction by dividing both the numerator and denominator by 5
