SOLUTION: i am having trouble understanding why a staircase with an 8.5" riser & 9" treads has a slope of 17/18. i know m = rise/treads = rise/run = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) but i keep getting zero?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The rise is 8.5, the run is 9
8.5/9 = 17/18
