Question 524620: how can i find the slope and y-intercept for 4y+14.2=2.4x-2.6
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve the eqn for y.
It'll be in the form y = mx + b
Then, the slope is the coefficient of x, m.
b is the y-intercept.

It seems more complicated than it is.
Just solve for y.
