3y-6x=20
I used the substitution method and got
3(2x-5)-6x=20
6x-15-6x=20

Cany someone tell me if this is correct? Thanks

Answer by tutorcecilia(2152)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You are correct!! The answer is "no solution". These two lines do not have any points in common. If you re-write the second equation into the y=mx+b format, you will see that they have the same slope and therefore, the lines do not cross.
Good job!!
