Question 454671: true or false?
2x - y = 3 is a linear equation in standard form?

Answer by ptaylor(2198)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
False
Standard form is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept.
The standard form for 2x-y=3
first subtract 2x from each side
-y=-2x+3
next multiply each term by -1
y=2x-3-----------------------standard form
