Question 453618: How do I solve a linear equation if the y is listed first? For example
-4Y-3x=-4
Answer by rfer(16322) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It makes no difference the order as long as you remember that when making an input/output table the x is always listed first and the x is always first in an ordered pair.
you can also change the equation to the "slope/intercept" form.
-4y=3x-4
y=-3/4+1
slope m=-3/4
y int b=1
