solving by elimination
0.05x+0.25y=11
0.15x+0.05y=12
-0.01x -0.05y= -11/5 |dividing 1st EQ thru by -5 to eliminate y
0.15x +0.05y= 12
.14x = 9.8
x = 70 and y = 30 (12-10.5)/.05 = 30
CHECKING our Answer***
.05*70 + .25*30 = 3.5 + 7.5 = 11
