Note: finding the value of a 3x3 matrix is done as follows:
= a1(b2c3-c2b3) - b1(a2c3-c2a3) + c1(a2b3-b2a3)
x+y+z=3
2x -z=7
5y+z=4
D = = 13
1*5 -1*2 +1*10 = 13
= 39
= 13
= -13
x= 39/13 = 3 y = 13/13 = 1 z =-13/13 = -1
