Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=3x+2;
You are given that 9< x <3
---
Multiply thru by 3 to get:
27 < 3x < 9
---
Add 2 along the line to get:
29 < 3x+2 < 11
---
Leave it that way or substitute to get:
29 < y < 11
