Hi,
After how many hours will the cost at Garage A be the
same as the cost at Garage B?
Let x represent the number of hours at both garages
$6 + .50x = $2 + $1.00x
4 = .50x
8hr = x, the number of hours when both garages would cost the same
$6 + .50*8 = $10 would be the cost a both garages after 8 hours
