Question 372657: What is the solution for this equation?
2x^2=3x-2?
I first moved the 2x over then set it to = 0, but i'm not sure if that is the correct way to solve. I factored then and got 2x(x-2)-1(x-2)=0, which i then put as (2x-2)(x-2). I got the answers x=2, x=1/2. I'm confused because I am not sure if this was the way to solve, or if I should have used the quadratic formula?

You made a mistake on the next step.
Because if I work it forward,
I don't end up with the original equation.
