Solve by substitution
5x - 2y = -5
y - 5x = 3
(1) We isolate one variable, in this case the easiest is the y in the second equation, then we write:
y-5x=3, and therefore y=3+5x
(2) Now we only have to substitute this the variable that we choose in this case y in the first equation.
5x-2y=-5
Therefore, 5x-2(3+5x)=-5, 5x-6+10x=-5, finally 15x=1, and the solution for x=1/15
(3) To obtain y we substitute the value of x in the equation that we have obtain before (y=3+5x)
y=3+5(1/15), y=3+1/3, y=10/3
