Question 364606: Okay, im working on solving linear equations by graphing.
here are my 2 problems:
7x+y=-17
and
3x-10y=24
I know that 7x+y=-17 would become y=-7x-17
but how would i solve 3x-10y=24?

Hi,
7x+y= -17
y=-7x-17
Proceed in much the same way to 'isolate' y on one side of the equation
3x-10y = 24
3x -24 = 10y
(3/10)x - 24/10 = y Or
y = (3/10)x - 24/10
