Two planes start from the same airport and fly in opposite directions. The second plane starts 1/2 hour after the first plane, but its speed is 80 kilometers per hour faster. Find the groundspeed of each plane if 2 hours after the first plane departs the planes are 3200 kilometers apart.
I am assuming that the distance = rate x time equation will be used, but I am lost.

you know the times ; and the speeds in relation to each other
___ the distances sum to 3200

(x)(2) + (x + 80)(2 - .5) = 3200
