Question 352290: If a system has an infinite number of solutions, use set-builder notation to write the solution set. If a system has no solution, state it.
a-2b=3
3a=6b+9
I have tried working these three seperate times, I cannot figure it out. I am beginning to think there is no solution. Thank you for you're time and assisstance.
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if you add 2b to both sides of the 1st equation and then multiply by 3 , you will get the 2nd equation
___ this means that the equations are, in essence, the same equation
___ meaning, there is no unique solution (but you already knew that)
