Question 34304: x-y=-8
x+y=12

Answer by priya(51)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Add the 2 equations to solve for x & y
x-y = -8
x+y =12
when u add,we get,
2x = 4
x = 2
put this value in equation 1 to get value of y,
x -y= -8
2 - y = -8
-y = -8 -2
= -10
therefore y = 10.
the values are 2,10.
