You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for x and y.
If you get a solution, it's consistent.
If you get a result of "0=0", it's consistent (they are the same line).
Any other result, it's inconsistent (they are parallel lines).

4x%2B2y%2Bx-2y=7
5x=7
x=7%2F5
Then use either equation to solve for y.
Since you have a solution, the system is consistent.
