The slope of the given line is m=2
Therefore the slope of a line perpendicular to it will be m=-1/2
Since the line passes through (0,0), the y-intercept is "0".
Therefore the equation of the line you want is y=(-1/2)x+0 or
simply, y=-(1/2)x
